Environment and People - Sustainability West Midlands
We are the sustainability adviser for the leaders of the West Midlands. Our vision is of businesses and communities thriving in a future region that is environmentally sustainable and socially just.
We play our part by acting as a catalyst for change through our advice to leaders, developing practical cross-sector solutions with our members from the private, public and voluntary sectors, and sharing success through our communications.
In sponsoring this category, we acknowledge leadership in many different places and situations. The environmental achievements detailed here and online demonstrate genuine, positive and lasting change to people’s quality of life. These come from individuals and groups who understand how by adding the vital ingredient of environment within social and economic regeneration they are delivering a truly sustainable approach.

Good practice in Equality and Diversity - Advantage West Midlands
Our role is to lead the West Midlands region towards greater economic prosperity. We work alongside partners to build upon our region’s many strengths and to find solutions which address its unique challenges.
Advantage West Midlands encourages the region to pursue equality and reap the benefits of diversity.
For this prize category “good practice in equality and diversity” judges looked for examples that were specifically focused on equality and diversity and provided sufficient detail of how good practice has been developed, shared and sustained.
Advantage West Midlands are proud and pleased to contribute towards learning in this area and commend all those who have taken the time to generously share their practice.
